1. Cookies and browser storage

A cookie is a small piece of text that a website asks your browser to keep. The browser can send it back to that website on later requests. Cookies may have an expiry time and usually apply to a particular website or part of it.

Local storage also keeps small text values in your browser, but works differently: website code reads the value directly rather than having the browser automatically attach it to each request. It belongs to this website’s origin and can remain after you close a tab. Both technologies can remember a preference across visits.

Our consent preference records your choice about optional cookies. It does not need your name or email address. When you follow a link to an external gaming service, that service’s own cookie and privacy policies apply. Your Aussie Play Axis choice does not set preferences on another website.

2. Storage used by this website

We use the following two entries to remember the same consent choice. They are first-party preference storage provided by aussieplayaxis.com. The cookie lasts for up to one year from the time it is set; local storage has no automatic expiry in the implemented preference mechanism.

No optional analytics or advertising storage is included in this inventory. Selecting an optional-cookie preference does not introduce a tracking service that is absent from the website. Preference storage remains useful when you reject optional cookies because it remembers that decision.

3. Managing your choices

The consent notice offers equally prominent “Accept optional cookies” and “Reject optional cookies” buttons. “Manage choices” opens the preference controls. Optional categories remain disabled unless they are implemented and you choose to allow them.

To review or withdraw your choice, use the existing “Cookie settings” button in the footer of this page. It reopens the preferences without requiring you to leave the policy. Change the optional-cookie setting and select “Save choices”, or choose rejection in the notice. The updated preference replaces the previous choice in this browser.

Rejecting optional cookies leaves our editorial content usable. Withdrawing consent applies to future optional use; it does not undo activity on an external service. For another website, use that provider’s own controls.

4. Browser controls

You can remove this preference through your browser’s privacy or site-data settings. Menu labels vary between browsers, but the following approach is usually available:

1. Open Settings and find Privacy, Cookies or Site data.
2. Search the stored website data for aussieplayaxis.com.
3. Remove both cookies and local storage for this website.
4. Reload the page to make a fresh consent choice.

Removing only the cookie may leave the local storage copy in place. Clear both entries for a complete reset. Clearing all browser data may also sign you out of other websites or remove their saved settings, so use the website-specific option where available.

Choices are specific to each browser and device. Private browsing may discard them when the private session ends. Blocking all storage can prevent your choice being remembered and make the notice return. Browser controls cannot recall information already sent to another service.

5. Changes to this policy

This policy takes effect on 12 October 2026. We review it when the website’s storage practices change. Before introducing optional tracking, we will update the inventory and consent choices to explain its provider, purpose, category and duration.

A revised effective date will identify the updated policy. Where a change requires a new choice, we will request it through the consent controls. You can revisit this page to compare the current inventory with your browser’s site-data settings.
